ORDER AVAILABILITY

If One Spot Online cannot fulfil an order, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be offered a suitable alternative, the option to wait for the ordered product, or a refund.

RETURN AUTHORISATION

Please contact One Spot Online before sending or returning a product. A return address or collection instruction may vary according to the product, supplier and delivery arrangement. Do not independently return goods to a supplier, warehouse or courier depot unless One Spot Online has provided the relevant instructions or Return Authorisation.

PACKAGING AND INSPECTION

Please retain cartons, foam, wrapping, corner protectors, hardware packs, accessories, manuals and product labels until you have inspected the order and are satisfied that it is correct and complete. Original packaging is strongly recommended for safe transport, but statutory defective-goods rights are not made conditional solely on possession of the original packaging.

INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If the wrong product has been supplied, stop assembly or use, retain the packaging, photograph the product and product label, and contact One Spot Online as soon as reasonably possible.

TRANSIT DAMAGE

If visible transport damage is found, photograph the product and packaging and contact One Spot Online as soon as reasonably possible. Do not assemble or install an item that appears damaged. Prompt reporting helps us obtain supporting courier or freight evidence.

MISSING COMPONENTS

Some furniture is supplied in more than one carton. Check all cartons and packaging carefully before reporting missing parts. Retain the packaging and provide photographs of the product, cartons, labels and received components where requested.

DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS

Products that are defective, unsafe or materially fail to conform to their description are handled separately from ordinary change-of-mind returns and are dealt with subject to applicable South African consumer law. Contact One Spot Online with the order information, photographs and other information reasonably needed to assess the issue.

ONLINE PURCHASE COOLING-OFF RIGHTS

Where the cooling-off provisions of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act apply, a consumer may cancel an eligible electronic transaction for goods within seven days after receiving the goods without giving a reason. The consumer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Legal exclusions may apply to certain transactions and goods.

CHANGE OF MIND AND CANCELLATIONS

Change-of-mind and cancellation requests are assessed according to the nature of the product, order status, fulfilment status and applicable statutory rights. A standard supplier-to-order product is not automatically considered customised merely because it was ordered from a supplier after the customer's order. Where a cancellation charge is legally permitted, it will be reasonable and assessed according to the circumstances.

SALE AND CLEARANCE PRODUCTS

A sale, promotional or clearance price does not remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Additional voluntary change-of-mind returns may be restricted where permitted by law.

RETURN TRANSPORT COSTS

Responsibility for return transport depends on the reason for the return and applicable law. Where goods are confirmed to be defective, incorrect or non-conforming, transport costs will be allocated as required by law. For an eligible cooling-off or voluntary change-of-mind return, the customer may be responsible for the direct return cost where legally permitted.

REFUNDS

Once a return or cancellation has been approved and any required inspection completed, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable legal requirements and the original payment arrangements where practicable.

This policy operates consistently with applicable South African consumer legislation. Nothing in it excludes or limits a statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
